2 Iranian short films, ‘Numbness’, ‘Not Yet’ have been scheduled to go on screen in the competition section of the 16th International Miami Short Film Festival in Florida, US.
‘Numbness’, directed by Milad Jarmooz, ‘Not Yet’, directed by Arian Vazirdaftari are the Iranian short films which participate in the competition section of the event.
‘Not Yet’ succeeded to win award in the 34th edition of the Busan International Short Film Festival (BISFF) in South Korea, and ‘Numbness’ has attended more than 30 international festivals all around the world.
‘Birthday Night’ and ‘Retouch’ are two other Iranian short films which compete in the event.
The Miami Short Film Festival is an annual film festival held in Miami, Florida, United States. The festival was established in 2002 by William Vela, and takes place around the second and third week of November. The festival is dedicated to promoting the short film genre, showcasing films from 1-30 minutes long. It is international in scope, bringing exposure to the world’s best independent up-and-coming filmmakers.
